solution

let the point be ( x , 0 )

(x - 2)² + 18² = (x +6²) + 4²

x² - 4x +328 = x² + 12x +52

12x +52 = - 4x +328

16x = 276

x = 276/16

x = 69/4 = 16.75

the point is ( 16.75 , 0 )
