There are two kinds of taxes

1.DIRECT TAX

2. INDIRECT TAX

Direct taxes are those which are imposed on a person and the burden of tax cannot be passed to the other person.EX: Corporation tax. On the other hand, the taxes imposed on the sellers and they can easily pass the burden to the final consumer is known as indirect taxes. EX: VAT, Custom Duty.
