Area of triangle = 1/2 × base × height
= 1/2 × 8 dm × 35 cm
= 1/2 × 80 cm × 35 cm
= 1400 cm^2

The area of triangle is 1400 sq.cm.

Step-by-step explanation:

Base of triangle = 8 dm

1 dm = 10 cm

So, Base of triangle = 80 cm

Height of triangle = 35 cm

Area of triangle =\frac{1}{2} \times Base \times Height = \frac{1}{2} \times 80  \times 35 = 1400 cm^2

Hence the area of triangle is 1400 sq.cm.
