Find the cost of painting a rectangular truck whose measure are 90cm × 60cm ×45cm at rupees of 200 per square metre.

Here is your answer,

Given : -
Dimensions are 90cm*60cm*45cm

T.S.A = 2(lb+bh+hl)
= 2(90*60+60*45+45*90)
= 2(5400+2700+4050)
= 2(12150)
= 2*12150
= 24300


(1m² = 10000cm²)
(24300/10000) = 2.43m square
T.S.A = 24300 cm square = 2.43 m square

Painting if for Rs.200 per m square
= 200*2.43 = Rs. 486
