• The physical dimension of stress is M L^-1 T^-2.

(Here,the M represents Mass, L represents length and T represents time, which are independent physical quantities).

• The physical dimension of strain is M^0 L^0 T^0 , which means strain do not has any kind of dimensional formula because it is the ratio of two lengths.
