Here is the answer you were looking for:
(2y \times y + 5) \times (3y) \\  \\  =  ({2y}^{2}  + 5) \times 3y \\  \\  =  {2y}^{2}   \times 3 + 5 \times 3y \\  \\  =  {6y}^{2}  + 15y
