As the two forces are at 90° so the resultant force will be = √( F1^2 + F2^2 )
F1 = 6 N
F2 = 8 N
★ Resultant Force => √( 36 + 64 )
=> 10 N

I think if he had asked about resultant force then u should must give the magnitude as well as direction as it is a vector quantity
