To Find : root of the equation correct to three decimal places​

Solution:

cos x-2x+3=0

-1 ≤ cos x ≤ 1

-2x+3 =  -cos x

-1 ≤  -2x+3  ≤ 1

=> -4 ≤  -2x ≤ - 2

=> 2 ≥ x  ≥ 1

1  ≤  x  ≤  2
