Solution:-

X + 1 = 0

X = -1

P(X) = X³+AX²+A - 2

P(-1) = (-1)³ + A × (-1)² + A - 2

=> -1 + A × 1 + A - 2

=> A + A - 3 = 0

=> 2A = 3

=> A = 3/2
