To find,

The value of x

Solution,

The formula of log ₐb = n is aⁿ = b.

Therefore, log₃(x+6) =2  is 3² = x+6.

⇒   9 = x + 6.

+ 6 which is on the Right-Hand Side of the equation would be shifted to the Left-Hand Side of the equation and its sign would change from +6 to -6.

Therefore, we get

⇒   9 - 6 = x

⇒   3 = x

Hence, the value of x is 3.
