Force and pressure are two different concepts though at times we tend to use these two words interchangeably. Collect some pictures,, or draw cartoons,to bring out the difference between the two.

Answer:

both are different terms.

Explanation:

mathematically,

pressure = Force / Area

take an example,

you have fix a nail in a wall.

if you stick the wall with flat end of nail and hit with a hammer, it can't go inside the wall.

but if you stick the wall with pointy end of the nail and hit with same shot with hammer, it will easily go inside the wall.

in both situations, the hammer is applying same amount of force but the effects are different. it's due to pressure difference. In first case, pressure at wall-nail contact location is less than that in second case because the the area of contact is very small in second case.

so, equal force can generate unequal pressure and vise-versa.

so, you can say that both terms are not same.
