Given :-

  • Force of 16N and 12N are acting on a mass of 200kg in mutually perpendicular directions.

To Find :-

  • The magnitude of acceleration produced

Solution :-

→ F = √F₁² + F₂² + 2 F₁F₂ + cos 0

→ F = √F₁² + F₂²

→ F = √(16)² + (12)²

→ F = √256 + 144

→ F = √400

→ F = 20 N

Acceleration = f/m

→ 20/200

→ a = 0.1 m/s²

Hence,

  • The magnitude of the acceleration produced is 0.1 m/s²
