Frogs and fish lay hundreds of eggs at a time. However, their population is very little as compared to the number of eggs they lay. Why?

Here is your answer : Because frogs and fish leave their eggs and go away. Some of the eggs get eaten by bigger fish and get destroyed. Only a few eggs are left and they hatch.
