Ge general wishes to draw up his 7500 soldiers in the form of a largest square after arranging he found out that some of them are left out how many soldiers were left out

If he is arranging in square then the no. must be a perfect square,
So the closest square to 7500 is 7396 which is a square of 86.
The no. of soldiers that are left is 104.
