He is a very intellectual student who was raised in very protective environment. He was completely different from other kids. He was completely devoted to his books and won many competitions. He showed excellent behavior and respected his parents a lot. He was also a good singer.

Mrs Bramble: She was house wife. Like her husband she cared for her son very much. She is proud of her son.

Mr Bramble: He was a professional boxer. His public name was ‘Young Porky’. He is a very sensitive father and cared for his child. He worried about his child education so he kept his profession a secret as it might affect his child education adversely.

Stokes: He was brother of Jane Bramble. He is also very concerned about Harold regarding his academics. He also wanted to hide Bill’s profession from Harold so he changed Bill’s mind not to fight at the Nationals Sporting club.
