Let , length be = > x m
Breadth be = >  \frac{4}{5}x m.

\underline\textbf{Perimeter} = 2( length × breadth )

= 2 (x + \dfrac{4}{5}x)

= 2x +  \dfrac{8}{5}x.

\underline\textbf{According to question}

= >2x +  \dfrac{8x}{5} = 80 m

= >10 x + 8x = 400.

= >18x = 400.
= >x =  \dfrac{400}{18} = 22.23

= >Now , time to find the breadth  \dfrac{4}{5} × 22.23 = 978 .12 m

Solution :

Let the length be 'Y' m.

Let breadth be 4/5y m.

We know that ,

Perimeter = ( L × B )

➨ 2 ( y + 4/5y )

➨ 2y + 8/5y

Now ,

➨ 2y + 8y/5 = 80

➨ 10y + 8y = 400

➨ 18y = 400

➨ y = 400/18 = 22.23 ( approx )

➨ y = 22.23

So ,

Breadth :-

➨ 4/5y = 4/5 × 22.23

17.78 m ( approx )
