In which direction does wind blow between the equator and latitude 30°N?

Winds that blow from 30 degrees latitude to the equator are called trade winds. These air currents flow down to the equator from the northeastern region in the Northern Hemisphere and from the southeastern region in the Southern Hemisphere.
