When to use assumed mean and step deviation method .Both are same?
Explain clearly giving examples as it will be usefull for many other students also..

in assumed mean method we just take middle term as the mean .but in standard deviations method we find mean using formula mean = sum of FX /n.
standard deviations is not as same as standard deviations .prefer text book for easy examples .
