The answer for the above question is option (2) =1.37 g.

Explanation:-

6m \:  + 2o2 \:  -  > 2m3o2

The complete balanced equation is expressed here..

From this we can understood

6moles of metal (M) equals to 2moles of product.

:-Finding atomic and molecular masses gives 58 and 206 respectively for metal and product.

:-6 moles of metal =6×58 =348 g

2 moles of product =2×206=412g

Given that 1.16 g of metal= "y" g

:- y= 412 ×1.16/ 348

y=1.3733 g

:-The correct answer is option (2).
