Answer:12.8

Step-by-step explanation:

AB=CD=16cm

area of parallelogram=(b×h)

area of =ABCD=CD×AE=AD×CF

.•.16×8=AD×10

128=AD×10

12.8=AD

Answer:

AD = 12.8 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

We  have a Parallelogram ABCD,

We  know  that  are  of  a  is  given by base×Height,

Now,

If  we take AB as base then its respective height will be AE,

Area of Parallelogram = AB × AE  ........i)

If  we  take AD as base then its  respective  height  will be  CF

Area  of Parallelogram = AD × CF ........ii)

Area  will be same  in both methods  of  calculation,Hence,

 AB × AE =  AD × CF

Putting , AB =16cm, AE =8cm, CF=10cm

16 × 8 = AD × 10

128/10    = AD

AD =12.8 cm
