Chromosomal sex is determined at the time of fertilization; a chromosome from the sperm cell, either X or Y, fuses with the X chromosome in the egg cell. ... Over the next five weeks, the fetusbegins producing hormones that cause its sex organs to grow into either male or female organs.

here's your answer.........dear user.......❤❤✌✌

whether a baby will be a boy or a girl is determined by the chromosome present inside the nucleus of the fertilized egg.

there are 23 pairs in every normal human cell.in each pair, one chromosome comes from father and one from mother.
two out of these 46 chromosome are sex chromosome, called X and Y chromosome. a female has two X sex chromosome and a male has one X And One Y sex chromosome.

each gamete has only one chromosome. an egg has an X chromosome. a sperm may have an X and Y chromosome.

1. if a sperm containing an X chromosome fertilizes the egg, the zygote would have two X chromosome and would develop into a female.

2. if a sperm containing a Y chromosome fertilizes the egg, the zygote would have one X and one Y chromosome and would develop into a male.

it can be seen from above that sex chromosome of a father, rather than those of a mother, determine the sex of the child.

I HOPE IT WIll HELP U............. ✌✌❤❤
