Host a sends datagram to host b, host b never receives the datagram and host a never received the notifications of failure give two different explanation of what might have happened?

UDP deliver no guarantees to the upper layer protocol for the message delivery and also UDP protocol layer retains no state of UDP message once it sent.
This can reason UDP is something consider as the unreliable Datagram protocol support.
Therefore it is right answer for the student to get better ideas among them with this question.
