Hotspot is a bio-geographic area, an area rich in biodiversity which is under threat of destruction. There are mainly 26 areas which have lost seventy percent of its original habitat. It is a home of thousands of species which are endangered and facing multiple threats whether it be global warming, deforestation or fire hazards. In order to sustain the biodiversity, these specific areas have been choosen to be taken care of. They try to provide clean pollution free water, climate regulation, reduce human interference etc.
