The seasons are caused by the tilt of the Earth's rotational axis away or towards the sun as it travels through its path around the sun (comprising of 365.5 days). The Earth has a tilt of 23.5 degrees that keeps the sun at fairly different distances from the earth. It's elliptical axis causes the change in the seasons.

Hope this helps!!!

different seasons caused by revolution of earth and earth is slightly tilt. It is not revolving in circular motion,it is revolving in elliptical motion.
