because they are rigid , have definite volume , shape and mass . Their is Maximum force of attraction between them . so they have negligible compressibility .

Solids are rigids .They have definite shape and volume .In solids compressibiliy is negligible because in solids there is very strong intermolecular force between molecules.
Solids are already compressed.
