The farmer picks him up and takes him to his home. They reach home at 12 noon, which is the dinner time for the family. He is served a hearty portion of meat, as the Brobdingnagians only had to carve a pinch sized portion of the meat. The also had to be crumbled for Gulliver. The farmer's son playfully picks up Gulliver scaring him out of wit. If Gulliver ad fell he would have been dead. The father urged the son to apologize for his behaviour. The second instance was when a baby at table tried to pit Gulliver in his mouth, head first. He shouted and creamed to disturb the child and save his life. Lastly, Gulliver was bewildered to see huge Cats and dogs, who did not even look at him. Later when Gulliver is put to sleep by farmer's wife he is attacked by two rats, each as huge as a mastiff. He kills one by his sword and the other runs away in fright. Farmer gets a suggestion of exhibiting Gulliver among people for money. Likewise, Gulliver is exhibited and exploited by his farmer master till he grows thin and weary. After extracting Gulliver's energy and huge profits, the master plans to sell him to the queen, thinking that he will die soon. However, despite bad experiences Glumdalclitch befriends Gulliver and becomes his protectress. His stay at the farmer's place is over when farmer hands over the exhausted and corpse-like Gulliver to the queen.
