How do changes in temprature help in weathering rocks???

As the temperature increases, the rocks expand due to heat, as the temperature decreases, due to cold, the rocks contract.....so this continued process of expansion and contraction makes them to break into small small fragments.....

when temprature is high the rocks gets hested up and expand. whn the temprature is low, the rocks become cool and they contract . this regular contraction and expanison of rocks make the rocks weak and they break easily
