Heya mate!!! here is your explanation...

first form the equation:

2x + 2 = x + 7

then start solving it as i show you below

2x + 2 = x + 7

2x - x = 7 - 2 ( x will be brought to LHS and will become negative, sameway 2 will be brought to RHS and will be negative)

1x = 5

x = 5 ( we have got the answer, it's five!!!)
