How do you solve the system of equations and state the answer as an ordered pair, x+y= -5 and x+y= 6?

x + y =  - 5........(1) \\ x + y = 6..........(2) \\ adding \: equ(1) \: and(2) \: we \: get \\ 2x = 1 \\ x =  \frac{1}{2}  \\ then \\ y = 6 -  \frac{1}{2}  =  \frac{11}{2}
