A vaccine works by training the immune system to recognize and combat pathogens, either viruses or bacteria. To do this, certain molecules from the pathogen must be introduced into the body to trigger an immune response.

Answer:

Vaccine contains dead disease causing organisms which when injects in body acts like antigens and foreign particles, since they are dead they cannot cause any harm.

Identifying these antigens, Antibodies are produced in our body to destroy them and To make memory cells.

When same disease causing pathogen enters in our body to cause infection, these produced memory cells produces antibodies very rapidly and destroy pathogen.

This system is called immune system.
