How does Delhi receive rainfal l than Jodhpur?

Friend here is your answer.....
Jodhpur is on the edge of the Thar desert and by the time monsoon winds reach it, most of the moisture is finished. Delhi is more east than Jodhpur and so it receives more rainfall.....

Delhi lies in the Northern plains, very near to the Himanchal Pradesh, in the foothills of the Western Himalayas while Jodhpur lies in Rajasthan very near to the Aravalli Hills. Thus, Delhi gets rain from both the South-west Monsoon and the South-east monsoon. Jodhpur remains Dry because the Aravalli Hills do not check the Southwest Monsoons as such thēy fly over Jodhpur without giving any rain to it. Thus Delhi receives more rainfall than Jodhpur.
