Enamel fluorosis and primary dentin fluorosis can only occur when teeth are forming, and therefore fluoride exposure (as it relates to dental fluorosis) occurs during childhood. ... Many of the changes caused by fluoride are related to cell/matrix/mineral interactions as the teeth are forming.

Welcome dear,

● Endemic flourosis -
- Usually flourine is important mineral for development of teeth when taken in normal limits.
- But when in excess (more than 5 ppm) it causes side effects known as endemic fluorosis.
- It can cause problems with teeth, skeletal problems, neurological problems and thyroid disease.
