Gratiano do wants to go to Belmont with Bassanio due to his secret love for Nerissa, maid of Portia. Although Bassanio does not know about them, it is true that they love each other. Gratiano feels he would get a chance to see his love Nerissa, and probably woo her if Bassanio is successful in winning Portia.

first bassanio does not allow gratiano to come to belmont due to gratianos rude and bad behaviour but gratiano convinces bassanio by saying him that he wil behave properly and will be friendly to all and thus finnaly bassanio allows  gratiano to come with him to belmont.
