Actually, the earth's atmosphere is made up of the mixture of many gases. There are different advantages of different element like- ozone would prevent the UV rays from the sun on the other hand heavy gases like carbon dioxide methane are considered to be green house gases which trap heat and prevent the heat of the sun from escaping in outer space. it depends on u that how u take because abundance of these gases like carbon dioxide is the main reason for global warming.
