How is immiscible liquids separate?

immiscible liquids can be separated by using a separating funnel for example if we tend to makes a water and oil then we can separate them by using the separating funnel as oil is lighter than water and water is heavier than oil so they will form a separate layer in the separating funnel and we can we can put a beaker in which we can collect the two liquids ...
