Given :

  • A cubical box has the inner side of 4 cm.
  • Cubes of 2 cm are to be pack in a cubical box.

To Find :

  • Number of cubes required.

Formula used :

  • volume of cube = ( side )³

\huge\underline\green{\tt Solution:}

First of all,

→ The volume of the box.

= ( 4 )³

= 4 × 4 × 4

= 64 cm³

Also,

Volume of  cubes

= 2 × 2 × 2

= 8 cm³

Now,

Number of cubes required  =\dfrac{volume\:of\:the\:box}{volume\:of\:cubes}

=\dfrac{64}{8}

= 8

Answer : 8 cubes are required.
