Formula used :

• volume of cube = ( side )³

First of all,

→ The volume of the box.

= ( 4 )³

= 4 × 4 × 4

= 64 cm³

Also,

→ Volume of  cubes

= 2 × 2 × 2

= 8 cm³

Now,

Number of cubes required $=\dfrac{volume\:of\:the\:box}{volume\:of\:cubes}$

$=\dfrac{64}{8}$

= 8

Answer : 8 cubes are required.
