Work = Force × displacement

i) force = 6N

disp. = 3m

W= 6N×3m

= 18J (ans.)

ii) force = 12N

disp. = 0.5m

W= 12N × 0.5m

= 12N × 5/10m

= 12N × 1/2m

= 6J (ans. )

iii) force = 10N

disp. = 10mm

(Change mm into m)

= 10mm

= 0.01m

W= 10N × 0.01m

= 0.1J ( ans.)
