the magnification of toxins increase during bio magnification. This is because organisms feed on one another to obtain food. each organism accumulates some amount of the toxins from the prey it consumes and the overall amount of toxin in the organism increases because the organism has to not only consume one organism but rather many. This accumulation of toxins hence increases from one organism to the other and passes via the food chain. Hence as we humans are at the top of this food chain, we are most likely to get accumulated by such toxins
