Hi there !!

When silver chloride or silver bromine is kept in sunlight , the substance undergoes decomposition reaction [ photo chemical decomposition ] and form simpler substances , with the evolution of gas.

Silver bromine :-

              sunlight
2AgBr(s)  ---------------->  2Ag(s) + Br₂(g)

Here , the colour of silver bromine ( light yellow in color) changes to grey color [ silver ]

Silver chloride :-

            sunlight
2AgCl(s) -------------> 2Ag(s) + Cl₂(g)

Here , the colour of silver chloride ( white in color) changes to grey color [ silver ]
