How will you show that potato contain starch

by iodine test
take a small piece of potato
n drop 2-3 drops of iodine solution
the stain will turn blue black in presence of starch

by iodine test put some drops of iodine solution on potato if it turns blue black than it contains starch if it remains the same than it don't contain starch
