I am a beginner and want to find out more on Buddhism?

The founder of Buddhism is lord Buddha who became a saint after seeing four sights: 1st one of a poor old man . 2nd He saw a sick man 3rd he saw an ascetic who was meditating peacefully under a tree. He then said that the world is full of suffering. the suffering has a cause. Desire is the cause of suffering. If desire is stopped suffering can also be stopped.
