Buddhism left India because the one who was the founder of Buddhism lord Buddha left India and spread his knowledge at other places.
he left India maybe because Buddhism don't support any kind of fight or anything like that. Buddhism is completely based on peace and at that time there were many fights going on in India between the old kings. so this may lead lord Buddha to leave India
