15 two-dollar  stamps and 5 five-dollar stamps

Total spent=$55

20 pieces

Assume all are five-dollar stamps

20×$5=$100

$100-$55=$45

five-dollar stamp's price - two dollar stamp's price

$5-$2=$3

So, $45÷$3= 15 two-dollar stamps

Therefore, 20-15=5 five-dollar stamps
