heyy here is uh answer
here is the difference between genetic engineering and genetic modification....
with respect to food genetically modified organisms (gmo) refers to food plants animals for which DNA has been altered to create desirable traits such as resistance to herbicides
The genetic modification may be either through human manipulation or as a result of traditional plant breeding method Like selective breeding or crossbreeding
between plants within the same species
on the other hand genetically engineered food refers to food for which DNA has been altered by human manipulation often inserting gene from unrelated species , to introduce new desirable traits to that organisms ...
genetically engineered food occur artificially in a way that would not otherwise happen in nature

this is the key difference between gmo And genetically engineered food
genetically engineered food are essentially an extension of gmoS

hope it helps.
plz mark as brainliest :)))))))))))
