f(-2)=(-2)^2+(a+1)×-(2)+b
0=4-2a-2+b
-2a+b=-2......eq(1)
f(3)=9+3a+3+b
3a+b=-12.... eq (2)
eq (1)-(2)
-2a+b=-2
3a+b=-12
-. -. =+
-5a=10
a=-2
put a =-2 in eq (1)
4+b=-2
b=-2-4
b=-6
a=-2,b=-6
is your answer

shpriyanshu: did not understand
prakhyatbabu: but the answer is a = -2 and b = -6
shpriyanshu: ab dekh lo

x2+(a+1)x+b is the quadratic polynomial.

2 and −3 are the zeros of the quadratic polynomial.

Thus, 2+(−3)=1−(a+1)

=>1(a+1)=1

=>a+1=1

=>a=0

Also, 2×(−3)=b

=>b=−6
