If amino acids are 20 than peptide bonds will be formed 19 ? why not 20 ?​

so firstly take Ä as amino acid ( let)

so for 20 amino acid it would be long so i m taking 3 amino acids example

suppose u have 3 Ä

and u have to join them with bond then

Ä-Ä-Ä

so from here we can conclude that for joining 20 amino acids we require only 19 bonds
