Given : p(x) = 2x² +4x +6 is  a quadratic polynomial

To Find : what is the value  of sum  of Zeroes?

(a) 0 (b) 1 (c) -2 (d) 4

Solution:

ax² + bx  + c  polynomial

Sum of Zeroes =  - b/a

Product of zero = c/a

2x² +4x +6

a = 2

b = 4

c = 6

Sum of Zeroes =  - 4/2  -2

Product of zero = 6/2  = 3

Sum of Zeroes = -2

Correct option is  c) - 2
