If sun stop giving heat & light when what will happen to the nature?

Eventaully, all the life sustaining on earth will get extinct, since the food we get is taken indirectly taken from sun as the, food prepared by plants using sunlight so as to perform photosynthesis to produce food. If this not happen food will get lost as a result all of the life will get affected due to the absence of oxygen preparation.
