Angle of reflection = Angle of Incidence (By law of reflection)

So Angle of reflection = Angle of Incidence = 45°

Answer:

\angle i = 45 and \angle r = 45

Explanation:

Since we know that on a straight line the angle made by a semicircle is 180 i.e linear pair angles.

We know the first law of reflection i.e.an incident , reflected and normal to the surface all lie on the same point or same plane.

So, according to this

\angle i + \angle r +90 =180

\angle i  +\angle r  = 90..................(1)

According to the second law of reflection i.e. angle of incident is equals to the angle of reflection.

\angle i =\angle r.......................(2)

From (1) and (2) we get

\angle i = 45

and \angle r = 45

So, angle of incidence and angle of reflection is 45.
