If the base area of a cone is 154 cm square and its vertical height is 15cm
then find its radius is​

  • Base area of the cone (A) = 154 cm².
  • Slant height of the cone (l) = 15 cm.

To Find :

  • Radius of the cone (r).

__________________________

Solution :

We know the formula of the base area of the cone (A).

→ Area = πr²

⇒ 154 = 22/7 × r²

⇒ 154/22 × 7 = r²

⇒ r² = 7 × 7

⇒ r = 7 cm

∴ The radius of cone is 7 cm.
